Joining the Committee
The Fourth of July Activities Committee consists of a dedicated group of about 20 volunteers who spend one night a week for about three months coordinating the fundraising, parade and beach party planning, and		    
   
   
overall logistics for the entire celebration. Our group has stayed together over the years but always welcomes new and younger members. We work hard but have fun as well, especially on the night before the beach party when we have our own cookout after setting up lights and staging areas. Please contact us though our website or when you see publicity in the Clipper and join us.

Taking part in the Duxbury 4th of July Parade is a rewarding experience, from volunteering an hour's time, participating in the parade or beach party, on a float or walking unit with your children or neighbors - it can be fun, but most of all, a memorable experience...taking part in a wonderful tradition.
