Duxbury Student Union Benefit Concert *

An Independence Eve Concert at Duxbury High School Football Field. Featuring local bands & Molly Jewell. 7:30–10:30pm The Admission price is $10.00 & $5.00 for under 12. In the event of rain - the concert will be held in the Duxbury PAC. – Proceeds benefit the DSU.

Friday, July 4th - 9:00 am
DuxburyRoad Race*

Duxbury Middle School. Start time is 9 am! The race distance is 4.25 miles. Details on www.active.com. Prize money to fastest male/female who breaks the course record. Post registration is $20. The race benefits those afflicted with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and main sponsor is Shields MRI.

Friday, July 4th - 2:00 pm
116th Annual 4th of July Parade

Starts 2:00 pm at Halls Corner and Ends at Duxbury High School. Parade Award Ceremony 4 pm at the Duxbury Middle School.

Saturday, July 5th - 4:00 pm
Annual Beach Party

Fun for the Family! Starting at 4 pm – Live Entertainment - Steven Brenner, magician, Crazy Hat Contest, "Music by Sons of the Blues & Cheech."Food & Refreshments & Duxbury’s traditional Bonfire* at 9 pm! Note: The Beach parking lot fills early, so please use the additional parking area at Blakemans, Free to Duxbury Residents.

4th of July Concert

Featuring South Shore Bay Band - concert Starts at 6:00 pm – Duxbury High School, St. George Street. An enjoyable evening for the family... music under the stars! This concert is supported in part by a grant from the Duxbury Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and the Doran Insurance Agency. In the event of rain the concert will be held in the DHS Auditorium.

* Note: The Student Union Concert, Duxbury Road Race, Holiday Breakfast and July 6th Concert are not affilliated with the official Duxybury 4th of July Celebration. No monies donated to the July 4th Celebration or the Margery Parcher Fund are used for these events.
